In a whirlwind of digital prowess and community solidarity, the Virginia Anti-Violence Project (VAVP) has proudly announced the distribution of $50,000 in direct aid to LGBTQIA+ victims of domestic and state violence. Spearheaded by Executive Director Ebony Clark and supported by Tyson Evans, Communications and Development Consultant from The Creative Mind, this achievement was made possible through savvy social media strategies, targeted emails, and strong partnerships.
"We knew the need was there, but the response exceeded our expectations," said Tyson Evans, reflecting on the impact of their digital campaign. "Using our platforms effectively allowed us to swiftly reach those in crisis and provide essential support."

Ebony Clark echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the urgency highlighted by their initiative. "This effort underscored not just the demand for immediate assistance but also the resilience and solidarity within our community," she remarked.
Looking forward, VAVP aims to double their impact with a new goal of raising an additional $50,000. "Our goal is to expand our reach and support more individuals facing violence," Ebony shared. "Every donation counts towards making a tangible difference in someone's life."
